Domenica DiDomenico, 89, of Moncton, passed away on
Monday, May 27, 2024, with her family by her side. Domenica was born
February 17, 1935, in Elce, Italy to the late Gaetano and Filomena
(Paoletti) Tittarelli.
Domenica immigrated to Canada in 1962, where she
married the love of her life Domenico DiDomenico. She worked at
Mary’s Pastry Shop upon arriving in Moncton. Always an
excellent cook, there she learned and excelled at baking pies, cakes
and bread that would comfort family and friends during family
celebrations. Family was always the most important thing to her,
feeding and providing for them throughout her entire life. She had an
amazing green thumb, from flowers to tomatoes there wasn’t a
plant that did not thrive under her
care.
Domenica leaves to mourn her children: Franca and
Sandra (Frank); her beloved grandchildren: Gino, Franco and Giuliana;
her great grandchildren: Domenico and
Mila.
Domenica was predeceased by her husband Domenico; her
brothers: Pietro, Elio, Gabriele; and her sisters: Clementina, Maria
Giuseppa, Elisabetta, Angiolina, Ida, Delfina, Nella and
Nerina.
