Daphnee Sharpe Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daphnee Sharpe, age 82, of Riverview, N.B., on Monday, March 18th, at the Moncton City Hospital.
Daphnee had a heart of gold and was loved by all who knew her. She was the loving mother of Mark Stevens and the devoted wife of William (Bill) Sharpe of 45 years.
Daphnee worked at many establishments during her career years: T ‘Eatons Co., Maclean and Chase Law Firm, and Moncton City Hospital as a ward clerk, to name a few, before her retirement. Her hobbies included baking, knitting, crochet and reading.
Daphnee was born in Saint John, N.B., but grew up in Sunny Brae, Moncton, and attended schools in the area. She was the daughter of the late William and Vera Walker. She is survived by her son Mark Stevens, husband William (Bill) Sharpe, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and two sisters-in-law, Ruby Sharpe (Paul), and Carol Sharpe (Reg).
Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Ferguson Funeral Home, Mountain Road, Moncton. Cremation has taken place and interment to take place at a later date. Words of comfort and donations bay be made at
