Bruce Applebee Obituary
Bruce Applebee, of Moncton N.B, passed away peacefully on Thursday February 1st/2024, at the age of 85. Born in Montreal, PQ, he was the son of the late Stewart and Jessica Applebee.
From his early days of traveling and entertaining with his country music band, to his time in radio broadcasting, and right up into many years with Revenue Canada, Bruce lived a wonderful life. Some of his fondest memories included playing music with his band, his time as a shriner , and his many years as a volunteer with the Calgary Police Service. He was an amazing person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandra ( Parr) Applebee, Daughters Lisa Adams ( Craig), Lindsay Evans ( Adam), and son Scott Applebee ( Carrielyn). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Christopher Applebee, Max Applebee, Lukas Applebee, and Ivy Wullenweber, brother Bill Applebee ( Donna), and sister Judy Davies ( Gord). Bruce was predeceased by brother Mel Applebee and sister Bev Thornton.
In honoring Bruce’s wishes, no service will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton ( 506-858-1995) Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or Alzheimers Society of NB.
