Levi Joseph Goguen passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at Losier Hall, on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the age of 78.
Born in Chatham Head, he was the son of the late Clifford and Mary (Robichaud) Goguen. He worked at Burchill plywood Mill (Burchill-Atcon), prior to his retirement, and was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, in Chatham Head.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years, Cathy (Arseneault) Goguen of Losier Hall; two daughters Angela Goguen (Ross) of British Columbia and Kellie McKay (Larry) of Bay du Vin; son Shane Goguen (Cara) of Miramichi; three sisters Mia, Ema, and Mary; three grandchildren Marcus (Allison), Colbie (Mackenzie), and Gregor; two great grandchildren Maddox, and Mae; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Mildred, Marilyn, and Veronica; and brothers Charlie, Benny, Raymond, Lawrence and Fred.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 11 am, at Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Father John Beaumaster officiating.
The family would like to thank Dr. Losier, and the staff at Losier Hall, for the excellent care and compassion shown to Levi and to the family.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
