In Loving Memory of Christopher O’Kane
1975 – 2024
Christopher Stephen William O’Kane of Napan passed away at the Chaleur General Hospital, Bathurst, NB, on January 8, 2024 at the age of 48.
Born in Labrador City, NL, on March 22, 1975, he was the loving son of Marilyn (Trevors) O’Kane and the late Joseph O’Kane. He attended St. Michael’s Basilica.
Chris is survived by his mother, Marilyn O’Kane of Napan; daughter, Erin O’Kane of Saint John; sons: Stephen and Liam O’Kane both of Saint John; brothers: Rob (Tracy) O’Kane of New Maryland, Richard (Erin) O’Kane of North River, NS, Sean O’Kane of Moncton, and Joel (Carrie) O’Kane of Woodstock; a special friend, Patricia, and dog Faith; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father Joseph, brother Stephen, and grandparents.
By request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael’s Basilica, 10 Howard St., Miramichi on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11 am with The Reverend Father Antonio Reyes. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Michael’s Cemetery, SPCA, or AA King Club – Miramichi would be appreciated by the family.
