In Loving Memory of Carolyn Grant
1950 – 2024
Mary Carolyn Grant of Miramichi, NB, passed away at her residence on May 25, 2024 at the age of 74.
Born in Newcastle, NB, on April 27, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Barbara (Engall) Rioux. She was an Educational Assistant for her working career, a role she cherished.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Melissa Hargrove (Brad); grandson, Ryan Hargrove Kersing; two sisters: Laurie Hartin (Dwayne) of Maine and Vicki Rickard (Steve) of South Carolina; one brother, Ken Rioux (Jean) of South Carolina; as well as her dear friends Joanne and Ross Wiseman. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Carl Grant, and brother Randy Rioux.
As per Carolyn’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
