In Loving Memory of Antonio “Zo” Turbide
1950 – 2024
Antonio “Zo” Joseph Turbide of Black River Bridge, NB and formerly of Baie-Sainte-Anne, NB passed away at Percy’s Place on May 23, 2024 at the age of 74.
Born in Chatham, NB, on April 4, 1950, he was the son of the late Albain and Carmella (Martin) Turbide. He was a truck driver, but his true love and passion was to be on his Harley Davidson and driving around with his friends. He was a member of Sainte-Anne’s Catholic Church.
Zo is survived by his four sisters: Virgine Durelle (Paul) of Escuminac, NB, Lucia McCullough (Francis) of Oshawa, ON, Jolaine Fowlie (Kevin) of Little Branch, NB and Paulette Turbide (John) of Kamalazoom, MI; one brother, André Turbide (Janice) of Escuminac; one brother-in-law, Mervin Trevors of Miramichi; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters: Velma Trevors and Merilda Fowlie (Robert).
As per Zo’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church, 5353 Route 117, Baie-Sainte-Anne, NB on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 4pm with Father Jean Bélisle as Celebrant. Interment will be in Saint Anne’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Percy’s Place would be appreciated by the family.
