Alonzo Joseph Martin, of Baie-Sainte-Anne, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 61.
Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Larry and Ludivine Martin. He was a fisherman and enjoyed spending time with friends and cruising in his corvette whenever he had the chance. Alonzo especially loved playing Crazy 8 with his grandson Nick who he loved so much and thought the world of.
He will be greatly missed by his daughter Justine Martin (David Mitchell) of Baie-Sainte-Anne; two grandsons Nick Durelle and Ty Mitchell; and many friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Soeur Blandine Martin Slumber Room, in Baie-Sainte-Anne, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Anne Roman Catholic Church, in Baie-Sainte-Anne, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 11 am.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
