Allison William Mullin, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 81.
Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late Ernest and Jean (Cassidy) Mullin. Prior to his retirement, Allison worked at Repap-UPM Mill.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Edith Mullin of Miramichi; daughter Marsha Gillespie (David) of Miramichi.; two sons Jason Mullin (Kerri) and Justin Mullin both of Miramichi; three sisters Nelly and Sheila of Miramichi, and Rhonda of Montreal; one brother Dale (Late Judy) of Miramichi; sister-in-law Dorothy Mullin of Miramichi; four grandchildren Brittany, Brandon, Eve, and Emmily; four great grandchildren Chase, Emersyn, Jordyn, and Sutton; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Gary Mullin and Terry “Buck” Mullin.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 12 pm to 2 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm, with Pastor Fred Williams officiating. A private family burial will take place in Miramichi Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Percy’s Place, or to a memorial of one’s choice.
