Francis Ouellet Obituary
Francis Ouellet of Dover, Memramcook passed away on Friday August 23, 2024, surrounded by family at the age of 75. Born in Beaumont on March 13, 1949, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Elodie (Boudreau) Ouellet.
Francis will be sadly missed by his wife, Diane (Lirette), his two daughters, Lyne (Kevin) Stevens, Christine (Maurice) Richard, two granddaughters, Jael and Dominic, brother Leon (late Alma) Ouellet, and one nephew Tyler.
Francis was a very hard worker and well respected in his trade. He spent most of his career working as a welder/ fabricator and trailer technician at Universal Truck and Trailer until his retirement.
Francis was a proud family man. In his personal time, he most enjoyed spending time with Diane, his wife and best friend of 53 years enjoying their family and friends. He loved his granddaughters and going to all their sporting events. He enjoyed working his land in Beaumont, camping at Gagnon Beach, woodworking, ATVing, and hunting. He could often be found tinkering in his shed modifying tools and thinking of new ways to make his wood cutting easier.
We will remember Francis for his kindness, patience, fairness, and sense of humour, as well as the love and joy he brought to our lives.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday August 27 from 2 to 4 pm only. A private family service will be held at a later date.
