The passing of Wayne Joseph Cleveland of Stanley, NB, occurred on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 8, 1954, he was a son of the late Boyd and Elise (McAloon) Cleveland.
Wayne is survived by his son, Aaron Cleveland; grandchildren, Jacob and Brady; siblings, Richard Cleveland (Jacquie), Ralph Cleveland, Theresa McColl, Elaine Ross (Roger) and Daniel Cleveland (Heather); nieces and nephews, Jason, Matthew, Adrienne, Jessica, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Sarah, Andrew, Joseph, Timothy, Benjamin, Brittany and Mallory.
Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Terry McColl.
There will be no visitation by request. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Stanley, NB on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 1 pm with Father Maria Arokiam Chinnappan as celebrant. A reception will follow the service in the church basement. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Just for Friends Food Bank, Stanley, NB or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
