Obituary of Sylvia Mary Tufford
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sylvia Mary Tufford announce her passing on April 15 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on March 8, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Rita (Bowers) Coolen. Sylvia is survived by her loving partner, Barry Moulds; son Terry Tufford (Brenda); daughters Charlotte Hall and Christine Brook (Steve); grandchildren Brittany and
Dylan Tufford, Nicholas Savoie and Adam and Sara Brook; sisters Deborah Leblanc (Don) and Andrea Sheehan (Bob) as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia is predeceased by son-in-law Gary; brothers Dennis, David and Tom and sisters Betty, Joan, Laura and Carol.
A memorial mass will be held on April 19, 2024 at 2pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Oromocto, NB. Donations in Sylvia’s memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Online condolences may be made at www.oromoctofh.com. The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at the DECH, particularly Dr. J Goodyear.
