The passing of Ricky Kevin Fairley of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 5, 1960 in Fredericton, he was the son of Betty (Wood) Fairley and the late Kenneth Fairley. Ricky worked for Mackie Movers. He enjoyed fishing and bonfires with family.
In addition to his mother, Ricky is survived by his son, Dustin Loxterkamp of Bangkok; siblings, James Fairley of Fredericton, Kenneth Fairley (Barb) of Oromocto, Wendy Estey of Fredericton, Perry Fairley of Fredericton; and he had a special place in his heart for all his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm. A Reception will follow at Fairley’s Sports Bar, 277 Restigouche Road, Oromocto at 5 pm. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
