The Family of Randy Ward is
deeply saddened to announce his passing after a long illness at the
DECH, April 25, 2024. Born March 14, 1976, and raised in
Fredericton, he leaves behind to mourn his wife of almost 19 years who
he adored, Sonia (Thériault); his three amazing girls
Émilie, Katie and Lisa; his parents Jeffrey and Sharon
Ward; his brother Christopher (Jennifer) along with his special
nephews Wyatt and Dawson; his grandfather Ronald Thompson and his aunt
Mary (Murch) MacDonald. Randy was predeceased by an infant
daughter Mélanie, his grandmother Irene Thompson, his
great-grandmother Minnie Thompson and aunts and
uncles.
Randy was a fun-loving person
who had many friends and was always willing to try something
new. He loved to tease and be teased. A Maple Leaf fan, he
was often teased about that at home. He spent many hours
playing with his girls. He had a passion for karaoke and
always had a positive attitude.
He enjoyed working at the
Superstore, surrounded by wonderful
co-workers.
There will be a celebration of
life where his friends and Family can share stories about Randy, at
Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, May 1st from 3:00
pm to 6:00 pm.
For those who wish, in lieu of
flowers, donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters would be
appreciated.
