Obituary of Peter John Waterhouse
With sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Peter John Waterhouse at Hospice House, Fredericton, New Brunswick, on April 5, 2024. Born on October 31, 1934, in Dewsbury, England, he was the son of the late Peter and Eva (Denton) Waterhouse.
In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife and partner for over 60 years, Joyce (Butterill) Waterhouse, and his youngest son, John Waterhouse.
Peter will be missed by his son, Roger Waterhouse (Chrystyna) and their children, Meghan, Wesley, and Spencer; daughter, Susan Savoie (André) and their children, Amanda, Adam, and Eric; son, Andrew Waterhouse (Marjorie) and their children, Matthew, Luke, Macey, and Travis; daughter-in-law, Janet Waterhouse (John, deceased) and their children, Chris and Emily; great grandson, Noah; brother, David, sister Judith, and brother Michael (Beverly), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A memorial service will take place at Christ Church Cathedral on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Seymour Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Donations to Fredericton Hospice in Peter’s name would be appreciated by the family.
