Howard Moore passed away peacefully at
Shannex Neill Hall on Feb 5 2024 at the age of 96.
Born in Scotch Lake NB, son of the
late Arthur and May (Hersey) Moore.
Howard was predeceased by his wife of
70 years Muriel (Pomeroy) Moore.
Howard is survived by his children:
Elaine Tucker, Edison Moore (Marcia), Kate Moore and Melody Oviatt
(Rob).
Howard worked as a Federal civil
servant with Agriculture Canada for over 35 years.
He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying
all that nature could provide at his log camp Hopewell Lodge on the
Cains River, and later in life a smaller cottage in Brockway
NB.
He enjoyed a good hunting story,
square dancing, eating sweets with every meal and relaxing with his
beloved tuxedo cat Jasper by his side.
Internment will take place in the
spring with immediate family at the Lower Lincoln
Cemetery.
