The passing of Helen Joy LeBlanc of Fredericton , NB , wife of Wilfred “Fred” George LeBlanc, occurred on March 4, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 3, 1935 in Moncton , NB , she was the daughter of the late Annie (Coetzee) Cameron and Cecil Balser. Helen worked with the Province of New Brunswick as a Clerk, but her main job was taking care of her family. She enjoyed camping, travelling as much as she could, baking, and loved music and playing piano. Her real joy was being with and taking care of her family.
Helen is survived by children, Wayne LeBlanc (Mona) of Fredericton, Brenda Barr (Randy) of Fredericton, Geoffrey LeBlanc (Jake), Terry LeBlanc (Kate) of Saint John, Tracey Ann Mann (Rodney) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Stephanie, Greg, Natasha, Jessica, Elizabeth, Emma; brother, Ken Balser (Connie); 7 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Helen was predeceased by her brother Michael Balser of Toronto , ON .
A Celebration of Life will take place at Windsor Court, 10 Barton Crescent, Fredericton, on the fifth floor on Tuesday, March 11, 2024 at 2:30 PM. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Parkinson Foundation. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
