The passing of Lorraine (Flower) Price of Fredericton, NB, occurred on April 3, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 8, 1936 in Flower’s Cove, NB, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (McNamara) and James Flower. Lorraine worked as a custodian for the District 26 School Board. She was a past member of the Elm City Square Dancing Club, an avid bowler, attended City of Hope , and was a loved and devoted mother. She had a strong faith and was strong willed.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Glenda Saunders (Steven) of Prince William, and Malcolm Price of Fredericton; grandchildren, Tracy Pike (Denny), and Andrew Saunders (Sheena); great grandchildren, Brandon, Wyatt, Denver, Danyelle, Dawson, Kyrah and Jayden, Addie, Ariel.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Darrell Price; second husband, William Ramsey; brothers, Donald McNamara and Bliss Flower;
sisters, Winnifred Shaw and Geneva Howard.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 1-2 pm with the Funeral Service following directly at 2 pm with Rev. Justin Beesley officiating. Interment will take place in Newcastle Centre Baptist Cemetery, Newcastle Creek, in the spring. For those who wish, a donation may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Newcastle Centre Baptist Cemetery . Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
