SMITH, ELIZABETH ANNE
The passing of Elizabeth “Anne” Smith of Fredericton , NB, wife of the late Terry Smith, occurred on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Shannex – Neill Hall. Born on January 9, 1950 in Fredericton , NB , she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth “Betty” (Stevens) Turnbull.
Anne is survived by her sons, Todd Smith (Kelly) and Sean Smith (Mary Beth Pickel); grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Emily Underhill (Brendan), Marshall Smith and Christopher Smith; sister-in-law, Phyllis Turnbull; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, Anne was predeceased by her son, Andrew Smith; siblings, Ralph Turnbull and Timothy Turnbull.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11am with Pastor Chris Walker officiating. Interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick , Women in Transition House Inc., or the Fredericton SPCA.
