It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dale Bruce Allen of Penniac , NB on Monday, June 17, 2024. Born August 5th, 1954, he was the son of the late Guy and Lois (Savage) Allen.
Besides his parents, Dale was predeceased by his wife Karen (Storey) Allen; and brothers, Allie and Dennis Allen.
After retiring as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, he continued to work out of his own garage. You might hear a few grumbles but he was always willing to help you out. He will be forever remembered as Grumpy.
He loved the outdoors—In his younger years you could find him at his own camp, someone else’s or simply on a trail, most likely somewhere in Penniac and as the years crept up on him, he found joy in hopping on his motorcycle and following wherever the road led him. He was working on his inner peace through God and faithfully attended church every Sunday.
Dale is survived by his children, Shari Allen (Marshall Finnemore), Denise Allen (Robbi Barton) and Jason Allen (Meredith Peters); grandchildren, Katelynn, Melissa, Alyssa, Caleb and Hudson; great grandchildren, Alexa, Bailey, Zoey, Charlie, Deacon, Dallas and Gracie; dear friend Joanne; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm. Interment will follow at 3:30pm in the Upper Penniac Church Cemetery with Pastor Leroy Gee officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Penniac Rec Center on Friday, June 21st from 3pm to 7pm. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to the Upper Penniac Cemetery .
