The passing of John “Bonner” Theodore Long of Priceville, NB, husband of Laura Mae (Calhoun) Long, occurred on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born on March 14, 1950 in Porter Cove, NB, he was the son of the late Albert Alexander and Olive Martha (Brown) Long.
In addition to his loving wife of 52 years, Bonner is survived by his sons, Robbie Long, Jodie Long (Lori Ann); grandchildren, Dillon Long (Laura), Juliana Long (Matt), Dallas Long, Brody Long, Caleb Long, Grace Long; great-grandchildren, Emerson, Casey, Peyton; siblings, Flossie Enman (Roger), Flora Gerbrandt (Ron), Edwin Long (Louise).
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Melvin Long (Sherri) and John Robert Long.
Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. Visitation will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4-8 pm. A Funeral will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1 pm. Interment will be in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery, Porter Cove at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Global Missions. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
