1953-2024
Herman Shearer of Riverview passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital with his wife and daughters by his side, on Sunday January 14, 2024.
Born in Edmunston, NB he was the son of the late Emile and Alma (Babin) Shearer. Herman worked for over 40 years as an Electrician and retired from NB Housing.
Herman is survived by his loving wife, Caroline (Beach) Shearer; daughters, Melissa (Ryan Trenholm) of Riverview and Sarah Shearer (Erik Martin) of Dieppe; grandchildren, Alice and Norah Trenholm; sisters, Margaret and Lorna; brothers, Raymond and Norman; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Sonya, Nora, and Norma and by his brother Gilman.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11:00am from the Chapel at Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre.
Donations made to the Albert House Hospice of SENB (hospicesenb.ca/donate/) would be appreciated.
Arrangments have been entrusted to the professional care of Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre and Crematorium, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB.
