À l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le 25 mars 2024, à l’âge de 84 ans et 8 mois, est décédé M. Léopold Girouard, domicilié à Edmundston, autrefois de Moncton, époux de feu Mme Irène (Devarennes) Girouard.
Il laisse dans la peine mais également avec de merveilleux souvenirs, ses enfants: Monique Girouard (Ihssan Bouhtiauy) d’Edmundston et Gérin Girouard (Michelle Anne Duguay) de Fredericton, ses petits-enfants Jasmine et Adrien Bouhtiauy. Il repose maintenant auprès de son épouse, ses parents Camille Girouard et Élizabeth (Cormier) Girouard ainsi que sa sœur Florence Robichaud.
Une Célébration de la vie privée aura lieu à une date ultérieure.
La famille remercie le personnel des Résidences Jodin ainsi que le personnel de l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston pour les bons soins prodigués.

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, on March 25, 2024, at the age of 84 years and 8 months, passed away Mr. Léopold Girouard, living in Edmundston, formerly of Moncton, husband of the late Mrs. Irène (Devarennes) Girouard.
He leaves in pain but also with wonderful memories, his children: Monique Girouard (Ihssan Bouhtiauy) of Edmundston and Gérin Girouard (Michelle Anne Duguay) of Fredericton, his grandchildren Jasmine and Adrien Bouhtiauy. He is now resting with his wife, his parents Camille Girouard and Élizabeth (Cormier) Girouard as well as his sister Florence Robichaud.
A Private Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Résidences Jodin as well as the staff of the Edmundston Regional Hospital for the compassionate care received.
