It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thérèse Fontaine, 91, on Friday, October 18th, 2024, at Pauline Nursing Home in Bouctouche.
Born in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and the late Justine Robichaud (Maillet).
Thérèse will be sadly missed by her children: Ronald (Marie-France) Fontaine, Jocelyne Fontaine both of Bouctouche, Diane Fontaine, Robert Fontaine, Rita Fontaine all three of Moncton, Arthur Fontaine (Gisèle Levesque) of Campbelton, Georges Fontaine of Halifax, NS, Raymond Fontaine (Annie Maltais) of Dieppe, Emile (Jennifer) Fontaine of London, ON, and Juliette Fontaine (Tony Golla) of Saint-Basil; her sisters: Marie (late Leonard) Comeau of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Anita Robichaud (Roland) of Campbelton, and Marguerite (late Bertin) Gervais of Saint André; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Antoine Fontaine; her daughter, Patricia Fontaine; as well as her siblings: Cécile (late Hermel) Ouellette, Robéa Robichaud, Florence Robichaud, Joe (Anne) Robichaud.
In respect to the families wishes, a private funeral service will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Thérèse can be made to the Pauline Nursing Home in Bouctouche.
