St-André-LeBlanc, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rolande LeBlanc, 76, (on her mother’s birthday), Saturday, December 21st, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Sifroid and the late Edna (Fagan) LeBlanc.
Just until her recent illness, Rolande worked at Westmorland Fisheries in Bas-Cap-Pelé. She enjoyed listening to CJSE radio and doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her daughters: Nathalie Cormier (Chris) and Nadia LeBlanc, both of St-André-LeBlanc; by her grandchildren: Joshua (Bradley), Megan, Océane and Liam; by her sisters: Odette LeBlanc (Omer) of Cap-Pelé and Pauline Cormier (late Tanis) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; by her brothers: Claude (Jeannine) of Cap-Pelé, Johnny of Dieppe, Donald of Moncton and Ola (Cécile) of Trois-Ruisseaux, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Paul.
A special thank-you to Kevin of the Shediac Extra-Mural, to all her doctors and to the 3-F unit at the Dumont Hospital for the great care and compassion given to Rolande.
