It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannette M. Breau, 83, on Sunday, December 29th, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Emilien and the late Rosalie Gallant (Richard).
Jeannette will be sadly missed by her children: Roger Breau of Edmonton, AB, and Janice (Remi) Cormier of Moncton; her grandchildren: Justin Lirette (Kate Read) and Mathieu Lirette; her siblings: Donald (Juliette) Gallant of Toronto, ON, Richard Gallant of Moncton, Rita (late Steve) Chandler of Moncton, and Yvette (Donald) French of Dieppe; her sister-in-law, Gloria Gallant of Moncton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Breau; as well as her siblings: Aldona (late George) Haché, Elodie Geldart, Yvon Gallant, and Roger Gallant.
Jeannette was known for being an avid Bingo lover and loved playing card games.
Visitations will be held at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, from 2:00pm until the time of service. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 4:00pm.
Donations in memory of Jeannette can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of New Brunswick or to the Dalhousie University in Halifax (Human Body Donation Program).
