Riverview, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannette Bourque, 81, of McNair Manor, Riverview, on Thursday, July 25th, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Willie and the late Dorice (Richard) Bourque, with many siblings, Jeannette stood out with her loveable and charming personality.
Prior to her retirement, Jeannette was a well-known and respected nurse at the hospital and finished her career at Villa du repos in Moncton. She was known by many in her career due to her caring ways and passion for helping others. Jeannette’s contagious laughter and bubbly, jolly personality will forever remain in our hearts.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lise Aubé of Riverview; by her son, Roland Robichaud (Nicky) of Ottawa, ON; by her grandchildren: Stéphane, Sophie, Finn and Charlotte; by her great grandchildren: Sean, Emily and Emmett; by her sister, Pauline Hope (Gary) of Moncton; by her brothers: Ronald Bourque (Eileen) of Hamilton, ON, Roger Bourque (Laura) and Gerry Bourque (late Elizabeth), both of Ottawa, ON, Victor Bourque (Denise) and Henry Bourque, both of Moncton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Paul Robichaud and by her brother, René.
Visitation and funeral service will be held at a later date.
Interment will be held at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
