It is with a heavy
heart that we announce the passing of our mother, Sara-Martine Brown,
passing away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 28, 2024. She
was the only child born in Notre-Dame to the late Ligouri LeBlanc and
Georgina Goguen.
She is leaving behind
her children: Charline Brown of Cap-Pelé, Marc (Cathy)
Brown of Cap-Pelé, and Isabelle Brown (Jason LeBlanc) of
Rossland BC.
A woman who wore many
coats through out her life: loving wife, mother, grand-mother, friend,
teacher and lover of her furry four legged children.
She was an avid reader
until the end, history being her topic of choice, saying with every
book you read, you learn something new. She also loved to crochet
Afghans and was always a world news follower.
Devoted to her family,
she never hesitated to help in any way she could. Through it all, our
mother was a mother in the truest sense, putting family first. We
thank you for taking the time for us and loving all of us
unconditionally.
She was predeceased by
her loving husband, Roderick, (Dec. 2003), also her adored grandson,
Justin (Nov 2013) in a tragic car accident.
As per her wishes,
there will be no visitation. A chapel service will be held at Frenette
Funeral and Cremation Centre, Cap-Pelé, on Monday, November
4 at 11 a.m.
In memory of our
mother, a donation to the SPCA or to the Chevaliers Colombs
Boîte à lunch,
Cap-Pelé.
Cremation and funeral
arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation
Centre, Cap-Pelé (506 577-3297).
