Matilda Emma Cormier, 4, passed away at the IWK Hospital,
Halifax, NS on Friday, December 20, 2024. Born in Toronto ON, she was
the daughter of Eiryn (Rodriguez) and the late Chris
Cormier.
She is survived by her mother, Eiryn and sister Emilia of
Bas-Cap-Pelé, three uncles: Bobby (Nadine) of
Bas-Cap-Pelé, Scott (Jennifer) of Dieppe and Edward Omana
Rodriguez of Indiana, USA, paternal grand-parents: Aldéric
(Heather) of Shediac and Caroline (Jacques) of Grand-Barachois;
maternal grandparents: Pedro and Eribeth Rodriguez of
Bas-Cap-Pelé, and paternal great great grandmother, Doris
Cormier of Bas-Cap-Pelé,
She was predeceased by her father Chris, her great paternal
grandparents: Ovila and Emma (LeBlanc) Cormier and her maternal great
great grandfather Ferdinand Cormier.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Sunday, December 29 from
2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm
only.
In memory of Matilda Emma, a contribution to the IWK Hospital
would be appreciated.
