The Wesenberg family is sadly announcing the passing of our brother, Robert “Bobby” Jens Wesenberg, of Riverview, NB, which occurred on Sunday, November 19th, 2023 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Oslo Norway in 1947, he was the son of Henrik and Anna (Hennessy) Wesenberg.
Robert is survived by his spouse Carolyn Mann; step-daughter Melissa McKay (Mike); step-grandchildren James Teed and Kayla Teed; brothers Fredrik (Jeannine) and Thomas (Carole) and sister Halldis (Del); his nieces Tara, Amy, Celine, nephew Clay; grand-niece Aniston; and grand-nephew Brenley; as well as many cousins across Canada and in Norway.
He was predeceased by his parents – father Henrik in 1975, mother Anna in 2013, and brothers Harald George in 1984 and Henrik in 2020.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday evening, November 24, 2023 from 7-9 pm at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Holy Family Cemetery, Bathurst.
