It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Mrs. Doris Laflamme, wife of the late Benoit Laflamme, which occurred on Sunday, July 14th, 2024 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 85.
Born in Paquetville, she was the daughter of the late Ubald and Lauza (Pinet) Doiron.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvie Laflamme-Procyshen (Douglas Procyshen) of Bouctouche.
One sister, Dorina (late Edgar Godin) and one brother, Raoul (Yvette Blanchard) both of Petit-Rocher.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings: Arthur, Anna, Adrienne, Jeanne, Lionel, Joséphine, Guillaume, Donat, Léandre, Claude, Anita and Ernest.
Doris and Benoit lived in Burlington Ontario. Following Benoit’s passing, Doris returned to Bathurst to be closer to family. Her many hobbies included nature walks, bird watching, sewing, cooking, laughing but most of all, she loved to dance.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations in memory of Doris may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
