Bathurst – Mrs. Annette Lavigne, wife of the late Bernal John Lavigne, of Cote Bleu, Bathurst, passed away on Monday July 1st,2024 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 69.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Thibodeau and the late Clothilda (Doucet) Thibodeau.
She is survived by two sons: Mark Lavigne of Middle River and John Lavigne (Maureen Cameron) of Bathurst.
Two grandchildren: Abeni-Rae and Keagan.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Dorina Thibodeau of Bathurst, Shirley Frenette (Jean-Marc) of Beresford, Violet Thibodeau of Saint John, NB, Donald Thibodeau of Robertville, Frank Thibodeau and Bernard Thibodeau, both of Tracadie and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Hunter; brothers: Gordon, Gerard, Randy and a sister, Gladys.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday afternoon July 5th, 2024, at 2 p.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) St. George St., Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Annette may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a favorite charity.
