Bathurst –It’s with great sadness that we the family, announce the passing of Mrs. Alice Couture, wife of the Lionel Couture, formerly of Eaton Court, Bathurst, passed away on Monday October 2, 2023 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 80.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Rudolphe and Lucie (Roy) Doucet.
She is survived by three daughters: Tina Marie Bryar (Gilles), Marleen Roy (Camille) and Colleen Couture. Four grandchildren: Stéphane, Amélie, Natacha and Alissa. Two great grandchildren: Aleksander and Dawson.
Two sisters: Lillian Jesso of Saint John, and Joanne Frenette (Eugene) of Bathurst. Two brothers: Alfred “Freddy” Doucet (Connie) and Roland Doucet (Theresa) both of Bathurst. Several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by one brother, Larry Doucet and one sister Violet Legacy.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday October 5, 2023 at 2 pm from the Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel.
