With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Douglas (Doug) McClelland on December 7, 2024, at the age of 78.
Doug is lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Gayle; his daughter, Jennifer (Steve); his grandchildren, Liv and Josh; his sister, Judy; his brothers, James, Ken (Diane), Bob (Lisa), and Wayne (Janice); his lifelong friend, Jim; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A private celebration of Doug’s life will be held at a later date for close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation in honour of Doug’s memory.
Don’t cry for me, I’m not gone
My soul is at rest, my heart lives on.
Light a candle for me to see,
And hold on to my memory.
Save your tears, for I’m still here,
By your side through the years.
