Remedios Mercado del Rosario Bigornia

On that fateful day of May 9, 2024, at precisely 3:00 a.m., Remy took her last breath at the HSC Women’s Hospital, at the age of 68 years, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.
Left to cherish Remy’s memory is her beloved children Remely; Grace and Mark Salangsang and their children, Karlos, Brianna and Cloè; Denis and Josephine Bigornia and their children Kane, Saizee, Gabriel and Tristan; Catherine and Carlos Sadsad and their son Zack. Her husband Wilfred Bigornia predeceased her.
Remy was born in Pampanga Philippines, the seventh child of Jose and Brigida Mercado del Rosario. She was eighteen when she got married in 1973. She started working overseas (Singapore, HongKong and China) since 1984 to provide for her family. She immigrated to Canada in 2018 and became a massage therapist as she loved helping and making her clients feel better. She never stopped working despite of her illness as she still wanting to help her loved ones back home.
Funeral Mass will be Celebrated in St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 315 Munroe Ave., Winnipeg on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 7:00 PM with Fr. Greg Mulligan presiding.
