MARY LOUISE PAUWELS
(nee MCDONALD)
Peacefully, in her sleep on the morning of October 21, 2023 at Concordia Hospital, Mary Louise Pauwels (nee McDonald) passed away at the age of 77 years.
She is survived by her husband Dale Brian Pauwels; daughters Joanne (Allan) Goertzen and Roberta (Mark) Armstrong; grandchildren Shaquille (Emily) Armstrong, Matthew (Cassie) Goertzen, Nolan, Cheyenne and Alyssa Armstrong; great grandchildren Wyatt and Kobe Armstrong. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She also leaves behind to mourn her loss, her longtime childhood best friend Beverly. She was predeceased by her parents Johanna and Henry McDonald; brothers Billy (Joyce) and Larry (Rosemary); sisters Dorothy (Tony) and Ruth (Mike).
Mary enjoyed bowling, reading, shopping and going on road trips to Grand Forks and Fargo. She also loved going to Las Vegas. She loved having family and friends over to her place for birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
A special Thank You to the staff at Concordia Hospital.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Mary Louise Pauwels (nee McDonald) on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
We will gather at 703 Wellington Crescent from 1 pm tp 5 pm. In respect to us using this propertywe are asking that you bring a pair of indoor shoes/slippers due to the snpw that has visited us a little early. You are also welcome to walk around in your socks. We thank you for your cooperation.
