At the age of 89, surrounded by family and song, Dad passed away at Concordia Hospital on June 5, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife Veronica, daughter Debra, granddaughter Sonia, and son Robert (Katie). Predeceased by son Gordon.
Dad’s life was marked by a joy so pure that many, from family to friends to strangers alike, remarked on his happiness. Whether he was contemplating the stars above or reflecting on Manitoban fields of gold, Dad’s life asked for wonder.
A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield St N, Winnipeg, with lunch and interment to follow at Springstein Cemetery.
