Sunrise: Palm Sunday April 3, 1955 – Sunset: Sunday May19, 2024
With heavy heart we announce the passing of our brother Emile / Uncle Em. He was pre-deceased by parents Lorraine, and Bernie; and his sister Louise. He is survived by sister Dolorese (Larry Reid); brother Phil and his son Dylan Devisser and fiancé Renee Sterling; niece Jacquie (John Clarke); great nephews Ben and Dan; niece and Goddaughter Michelle (Keith Kotelko).
Em loved retirement, hockey, reading, cooking, and music, playing guitar, drums and sound production – and boy could he fix anything! He recently told me “the last 2-1/2 years have been the happiest in my life”, referring to recording original audio and video for our YouTube channel. He also found tremendous joy in cooking and ‘over the top’ Sunday dinners. He will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 12, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at E.J. Coutu Funeral Home, located at 680 Archibald Street in Winnipeg.
