Peacefully, with family by her side, on October 7, 2023, Joanne Rose Logan passed into the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Left to cherish her memory and legacy of faith are her beloved husband of 57 years, Bruce; children Dave, Maureen (Earl), Candice (Sheldon); grandchildren, Jesse, Daniel (Marissa), Sean, Ethan, Chloe, Josiah (Angelica), Johanna (Alex), Seth (Maja), Micah (Anne), Daniel (Kaitlyn), Dustin, Jeremiah, and Akashai; great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Winston, Evelyn, and Theodore; sister Jill (Ron); brother-in-law Jamie (Colleen), sisters-in-law Tannis (James),and Robbyn (Jim), and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews who were dearly loved by Aunty Joey.
Joanne was predeceased by her parents, Don and Betty Vorlick, in-laws, Bill and Shirley Logan and Penny Logan.
Joanne was born in Winnipeg on August 16, 1946. Her childhood years were spent in various locations – England, Minnedosa, Rivers and Winnipeg. She began her working years in Winnipeg, one being a beauty supply company where she met her lifelong love, Bruce.
Joanne and Bruce were married on September 3, 1966, at Calvary Temple. Their first years were spent in Winnipeg where they were blessed with their three children.
The family moved out to Lorette where Joanne invested her love and energy into creating a loving home filled with joy, laughter, faith, and fun.
Joanne was dearly loved by so many. She was a true lady of grace, joy, and strength, who lived with a rooted trust in her Redeemer, Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for all the prayers, love and support given to Joanne and the family.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2023, at Calvary Temple, 440 Hargrave Street. Interment will take place prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Temple Youth Camp in Joanne’s memory.
