She leaves behind her beloved husband Daniel Ryan Smith and their five children Diane Smith Jr., Donovan Smith, Domonique Smith, Damian Smith and Daniel Smith Jr.
Diane also leaves behind her parents Diane Pashe (Beaulieu)(Robert Beaulieu) and Norman O’Meara, siblings Cheryl Hope, William Hope, Adrian O’Meara (Kelly Bruyere), baby sister Alexis O’Meara (Joseph Tuloch), baby brother Norman O’Meara Jr. “Hunter Williams”, in-laws Marie Smith (Glen Roberts), Charlene Smith, Suzanne Smith, Chilton Roberts, Inez Roberts, Vance Roberts, Glen Roberts and Joelle Roberts, nieces and nephews Romeo Hope, Riley Hope, Radon Beaulieu, Nayah Beaulieu, Talent Beaulieu, Malachi Beaulieu, Kyle Bruyere, Jaden Bruyere, Leah Bruyere, Logan Bruyere, Noémie O’Meara, Harry Myerion, Lebron Smith-Myerion, James Smith-Myerion (Angelia), Zackariah Smith, Laurent “Chad” Bind, Leland Smith, Isabel Bird, Kobe Myerion, Dauphin Myerion, Michael Myerion, Iris Myerion, Ivy Myerion, Iverson Myerion, Vincent Myerion and Aryanna Manningway.
Diane was predeceased by her sister Everette O’Meara and her father-in-law Daniel Seenie.
She also leaves behind her great-niece and great nephews, along with many cousins, aunties, uncles and friends.
Traditional Wake Service will commence on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. and will continue for three three days until Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg. Funeral Service will follow on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel.
