In loving memory of our father, Alberto Suba, who passed away on March 30, 2024. He was the devoted husband of Elisa, and loving father of AnnaLisa (Joey) & Gilbert (Michelle), as well as excited grandfather of Bishop. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
One of the kindest souls on this planet, our father was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage.
After immigrating from the Philippines in the mid 70’s, he worked as a crane operator until his retirement. During that time, he developed a passion for bowling, and even played in a league for several years. He was always there for us, whether we needed a shoulder to cry on, or just someone to put a smile on our faces. He taught us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. Our father was a true role model who we will always look up to.
A viewing will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, which will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m., after which there will be a reception on site with continued viewing until 4:30 p.m. This is being held at E.J. Coutu Funeral Home, located at 680 Archibald Street in Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
Father, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
