Adebukola Mutiat Adeyeye (Bukky), 48, of Winnipeg, Manitoba passed away on June 9, 2024, on 51 Berard Way.
Adebukola was born in Ibadan, Nigeria to Mr. and Mrs. Ayoade on July 31, 1975. She went to high school at Queens of Apostle, Ibadan, Nigeria and graduated in 1989. She went on to earn a higher national diploma in biochemistry from Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Nigeria and a postgraduate diploma education from National Teacher’s Institute, Kaduna, Nigeria, in 2005. She worked as a math & chemistry teacher for 14 years. She had prior learning assessment (PLA) in early childhood education (ECE), 2020-21. She worked at St. Norbert Children’s Centre, Winnipeg, La Salle, Kids’ Inc, La Salle, and Behavioural Health Foundation, Winnipeg. She enjoyed being with children and serving the lord. She was a teacher at the children’s dept, a member of choir and an usher at Great Door Bible Church.
Adebukola is survived by her husband, Ismaila Abiodun Adeyeye of Winnipeg and siblings – Mrs. Sakirat Ayoade, Ayoade Kolawole, Mrs. Ojelade Opeyemi nee Ayoade, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Adebukola was a loving mother to many children which include Adeola Ashamu in Lagos.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ayoade.
Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with Pastor Solomon Olayiwola of Great Door Bible Church officiating. Burial will follow at St. Vital Cemetery.
