Obituary of Gerald Friesen
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Gerald (Gerry) Friesen at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB., on Friday, April 5, 2024. He was 86 years old.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Elfrieda (Frieda) Friesen, his daughter Annabelle Steele (Joseph), and his grandchildren, Venezia, Eli, Ephraim, GracieMae, Katania and Laihue.
Gerry was predeceased by his parents, Abe & Marie Friesen, his brother Warren, his sister Judy Doerksen and brother-in-law Ray Doerksen and his brother-in-law Abe Neufeld.
A special thank-you to all the medical staff in emergency and the medicine ward at Bethesda Regional Health Centre for all the care they gave Gerry while he was there.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with burial prior to the service.
