Denise Brown Obituary
Denise Brown
It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our mother, Denise Valerie Brown, aged 85 years, on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Seven Oaks Hospital after a lengthy stay.
She is survived by her three children, Darrell Brown, Laurie Lamont (Brian) and Melanie Stables (David); brother Brain Borse (Judy); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Borse clan was a close-knit family with numerous cousins and friends.
Mom worked for Air Canada for 28 years and enjoyed the privilege of lots of world travel, this was her passion.
Special thanks to Dr. Abbott and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the excellent care, support and respect they gave our mom. River Ridge 1 Retirement Residence was her home in her final years. Mom received excellent home care here and it allowed her to live her final years independently.
Mom’s final wish was to be buries alongside her mother, Elsie Borse. Cremation has taken place and interment will be determined in the Spring of 2024
