Dale Jabush Obituary
Dale Jabush
09/12/1965 – 09/18/2024
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dale Jabush in Selkirk, at the age of 59 years old, on September 18, 2024.
Predeceased by his mother, father, sister, 2 birds and fiance.
He leaves to mourn his step-children Darla, Dennis (Natasha) and Cody, grandchildren Tyrell, Blaze, Grayson, Wyatt, and numerous friends.
Dale grew up in Selkirk Mb. Attended the Lord Selkirk School Division until he graduated. After that Dale worked at Co-Op Gas Station as a gas attendant and Amsco as a janitor.
After Dales father passed he took care of his mother and he would take her for a walk to A&W for coffee everyday. Dale loved his mother deeply.
Thank you to the staff at Selkirk Regional Health Center, especially his nurse Ashley for all her hard work, devotion and care.
To honour Dale’s wishes, there will be no formal service.
Here is a phrase from a song that played while driving home from the hospital;
Funny how the good ones go
Too soon, but the good Lord knows
The reasons why, I guess
Sometimes the greater plan is kinda hard to understand
Right now it don’t make sense
I can’t make it all make sense
So I’m gonna sit right here
On the edge of this pier
Then watch the sunset disappear
And drink a beer
So long my friend, until we meet again
I’ll remember you
And all the times that we used to…
