It is with heavy hearts, after months of battling cancer Brent Verheul, aged 60 years, passed away on November 15, 2023.
He was predeceased by his mother Louise. Survived be his father Adrian; brother Greg (Darlene) and his son Kyle.
Brent worked for many years as a pattern maker in the foundry industry in Selkirk and Winnipeg. His remaining years he worked at Black Cat Blades in Selkirk. He enjoyed his country living, gardening, cutting grass, watching the wild animals and working on the old homestead.
In keeping with his wishes a private graveside service will be held in the East Selkirk Cemetery near his mother, grandma and grandpa.
Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at Cancer Care MB, Selkirk Regional Health Centre and Gilbart Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers a donation in his memory can be made to Cancer Care MB or a charity of your choice.
