It is with great sadness that the family of Andrew Henry Dolenuk announces his passing on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre.
Andy will be missed by his wife Maryanne (nee Steffes), 55 years of marriage; son Kristopher, grandchildren Aiden and Alex; son Matthew (Pam), grandchildren Vienna and Harvey.
He is survived by his brother Len (Betty Rempel), Maurice, George (Olga Krewenko); sister Margery Stefaniuk; sister-in-law Joan Fyvie and many nieces and nephews.
Andy was predeceased by his parents Pete and Anne (nee Kulbaba); brother John; sisters-in-law Vicky Dolenuk and Shryl Dolenuck; brother-in-law Bill Stefaniuk.
Andy was born in Sandhill north of Tyndall and enjoyed his grades 1-8 at Greenwich School. His high school was at BCI-Beausejour. Andy and Maryanne lived in St. Andrews for over fifty years. He worked in telecom-communications for over 30 years. Last four years before retiring, Andy worked with senior fiber optics system in the U.S.A, Phoenix, Dallas, and St. Louis (mid west area).
Andy was always grateful for all the friendships through his journey in life. His greatest love was his two sons and four beautiful, wonderful, precious grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
