It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Sloane Natalie Newton (nee Besant), of Cooks Creek on May 30, 2024, at the age of 53 years.
Sloane will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 21 years, Rory; children: Tuera and Taigan; sister Shelley Amos (Scott), niece Courtney (Matt), nephew Josh; brother-in-law Ty Newton, nephew John; sister-in-law Kelly Carter (Bruce), nieces Kaitlyn and Erin; sister-in-law Nancy; step-mother Debbie Besant; step-sisters: Sarah Shannon, Sabrina Libbey (Craig), nephews Oscar and Milo.
Sloane is also survived by her aunts Linda Shanks (Don), and Beverley Philpot (Jerry) and numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
Sloane was predeceased by her loving parents, Fred and Patricia Besant (nee Molinsky).
The funeral service will take place Friday, June 7, 2:00 p.m. at Seasons Funeral Chapel. Those that wish to join virtually can do so by clicking on the photos and videos tab.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Sloane may be made to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
