À la Villa Youville de Ste-Anne le 12 novembre, est décédée à l’âge de 95 ans, Thérèse Rémillard (née Damphousse), épouse de feu Ambroise Rémillard.
Mme Rémillard laisse dans le deuil ses six enfants: Rhéal (Vivianne Brais) – Julie, Réjean, Marcel, Josée; Irène (Paul Dupuis) – Marc, Andrée, Sylvain, Karine; Émile, Marc (Jeanne Alarie) – Paul, Roxanne, Janelle; Louis (Sharon Bingham) – Miguel, Daphne; et Agnès. Thérèse laisse également dans le deuil ses soeurs Françoise Vermette, Céline Dansereau et son frère l’abbé Georges Damphoussse ainsi que sa belle sœur Fernande Damphousse ainsi que ses nombreux arrières petits-enfants et 3 arrière-arrière-petits-enfants.
Thérèse est née le 29 mai, 1928 à l’hôpital Général de Saint Boniface la deuxième de 6 enfants. Elle a célébré ses noces avec Ambroise Rémillard en juillet 1955 et a vécu 62 ans sur la ferme familiale à St-Joseph et déménagé avec Ambroise à la Villa Youville à Ste-Anne en 2017.
L’ont précédée son cher mari Ambroise Rémillard, ses parents Albert et Marie-Louise Damphousse (née Jubinville), son frère Paul Damphousse (Fernande), Lucille Damphousse (Soeurs Grises), Gérard Vermette (Françoise). Elle retrouvera également son bébé Yves. L’ont également précédée ses beaux-parents Narcisse et Victoria Rémillard, beaux-frères et belle-sœur Edmond (Alma), Honoré, Yvonne Jubinville (Wilfrid Godard and Philias Godard), David, Michel, MarieReine, Angeline (Gerry Lalonde), Marie-Jeanne (Raymond Bretecher), Lucille (Paul Perron), MarieFlore (Venance Clément), et une petite-fille Breyann Hammer (Réjean et Kathy).
Maman était un petit bout de femme avec de nombreux talents. Elle était une mère au foyer horspaire, experte boulangère, couturière, tricoteuse, crocheteuse, et jardinière. Elle avait une énergie sans-borne et une détermination pour l’excellence. À l’automne de sa vie, elle a poursuivi son rêve de jeunesse et a trouvé un métierle tissage avec brio.
Un éloge sera entendu dès 10h30 suivi immédiatement par les funérailles le 25 novembre en l’église de Saint-Joseph.

Thérèse Rémillard (née Damphousse) passed away peacefully on November 12th at the Villa Youville in Ste-Anne.
She is survived by her children: Rhéal (Vivianne Brais) – Julie, Réjean, Marcel, Josée; Irène (Paul Dupuis) – Marc, Andrée, Sylvain, Karine; Émile; Marc (Jeanne Alarie) – Paul, Roxanne, Janelle; Louis (Sharon Bingham) – Miguel, Daphne; and Agnès. She is also survived by her sisters Françoise, Céline, and her brother Father Georges Damphousse as well as her sister-in-law Fernande. She is also survived by her numerous great-grandchildren and 3 great-greatgrandchildren.
Thérèse was born on May 29th, 1928 in Saint Boniface General Hospital the second of 6 children to Albert and Marie-Louise Damphousse. She married Ambroise Rémillard in July of 1955 and lived her life in St-Joseph for 62 years and eventually moved to Villa Youville in Ste-Anne in 2017.
She is predeceased by her husband Ambroise Rémillard, her parents Albert and Marie-Louise Damphousse (née Jubinville), her brother Paul Damphousse (Fernande), Lucille Damphousse (Grey Nun), Gerard Vermette (Françoise). She will be reunited with her baby son Yves. She is also predeceased by her in-laws Narcisse and Victoria Rémillard, brothers and sisters in law Edmond (Alma), Honoré, Yvonne Jubinville (Wilfrid Godard and Philias Godard), David, Michel, Marie-Reine, Angeline (Gerry Lalonde), Marie-Jeanne (Raymond Bretecher), Lucille (Paul Perron), Marie-Flore (Venance Clément). She is also predeceased by her grand-daughter Breyann Hammer (Réjean and Kathy)
Mom was a woman of many talents from a young age. She was a crafty home-maker, expert bread maker, sewer, knitter, crocheter and gardener with boundless energy and determination to excel. Later in life, she pursued her childhood dream of becoming a weaver and succeeded!
Eulogy will begin at 10:30 followed immediately by a funeral mass on November 25th in St-Joseph Catholic Church.

The family wishes to thank the Villa Youville staff for their kind support and gentle care of their mother. A special thank-you to relatives and dear friends who visited Mom and shared kind words and lasting memories of Thérèse as well as their heartfelt sympathy.
