Obituary of Willard John Foley
Peacefully and with his loving family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, November 28, 2024 the death occurred of Willard John Foley of Stratford and formerly of Cornwall, age 84 years.
Survived by his loving wife Ann Helena Foley (MacDonald) and his children Andrew, Michelle Foley (Abed) and Aileen Foley. Proud papa of Idris and Rayna Foley-Zeidan. Brother of Sr. Helen Foley CSM and brother-in-law of Margaret Foley. Uncle of Leonard Foley Jr. and Marsha Foley (Nick). Fondly remembered by his numerous O’Connor and Foley cousins. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary (O’Connor) Foley and brothers Gerard and Leonard (Sandra).
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 2-4pm. The Knight of Columbus of St. Francis of Assisi will hold a prayer service at the funeral home Sunday at 1:15 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 2, 2024 at 10:00 am from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall PEI.
Interment will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Cemetery, Stratford PEI.
Memorial donations may be made online to Meals on Wheels and St Vincent de Paul Good Shepherd Parish Cornwall.
